MSc Computer Science
Entry Requirements
- Applicants should have a good first degree or equivalent in any subject other than Computer Science and will be expected to demonstrate some aptitude for programming. Applicants without the usual academic qualifications may be considered but they will need to have significant experience in the IT industry; such applicants should apply early.
- There is an additional entry point to those part-time MSc Informatics students who pass each of the FoC, ISD, CS and IS modules (i.e. to have at least 50% mark of the weighted average of the exam and coursework) in their first year. These students could choose to migrate to (the second year of) MSc CS, and then they would have to pass the C++ module in their second year besides DKM,OODP, and one optional module plus the project in order to get the MSc CS degree.
- You can download the pre-course reading notes of the C++ module that help you in preparing for the aptitude test.
