Module Outlines

Students select their modules from the following:

Additionally students on this programme will be able to select up to two modules from the post-graduate offerings of the Department of Management subject to relevance to their dissertation theme and agreement of the module provider.

Full-time students undertake a one-year supervised research project, and also take two taught subject modules and two taught research methods modules. Part-time students undertake the research project and ake two taught subject modules and two taught research methods modules over two years. Students should select modules appropriate to their chosen research area: such selections are subject to approval by the Programme Director. Of the taught research methods modules Research Methods in Computer Science and Information Systems (RM) is taught in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, whereas Research Methods in Management is taught in the Department of Management.
