- This programme, formerly known as MSc Informatics, is designed for graduates of disciplines other than
computing, focussing on practical aspects of information systems development, modern management topics, and professionalism in IT.

- The programme is accredited as partially meeting the educational requirements for Chartered IT Professional (CITP) registration by the British Computer Society (BCS), subject to students completing an implementation project.
- Applicants should have a good honours degree in a subject other computing or information systems - see Entry requirements.
- May be taken in one year full-time or two-years part-time - see Attendance.
