MSc Learning Technologies
- This programme provides academic grounding for the profession of
Learning Technologist, and is distinctive in its twin focus on both
the computer science and the learning theory that together underpin
the optimal development of learning technologies.
Although administered by Birkbeck,
it is jointly taught by staff from both Birkbeck and the Institute of
Education.

- The programme provides the technical and pedagogical knowledge necessary for designing, developing and evaluating learning technologies from the perspective of state-of-the-art AI and computer science techniques, learning theory, and teaching practice, so that participants are able to see the pedagogic potential of new digital technologies and play a leading role in the future development of innovative software systems to support teaching and learning.
- The London Knowledge Lab is unique in the UK in bringing together world-class researchers in both education and computer science, who combine their expertise in delivering this Masters programme.
-
