Project Management for Informatics
This course is compulsory for all students on the MSc in Information Systems and Management. It is also available on the MSc in Information Technology. The course is run in mix mode, a number of issues being taught by lecture and current issues being examined in student led seminars. Students will also develop skills in exploring current research literature and develop confidence in presenting their critical views to an audience.
The module will develop students' understanding of Project Management in Informatics. Students will understand the key issues surrounding Project Management and Project Management practice in Information Systems projects. They will be aware of current issues in Informatics Project Management and develop confidence in assessing, presenting and discussing those in seminars.
