This paper describes the implementation of a storage manager (SM) for the
Hypernode Model.  Section 2 of the paper discusses the requirements for the
SM and the particular problems they pose.  Section 3 describes the
implementation of the SM: the motivation behind its design, an overview of
the overall architecture, and a description of the functionality and
implementation of each of its modules.  Section 4 discusses indexing and
clustering issues.
