Dr. Eleftheria "Eli" Katsiri

Short Bio
Eli is a lecturer in the School of Computer Science, Birkbeck,
University of London and has worked as a researcher at Imperial College
London. Eli has a PhD from Cambridge University's Engineering
Department and she has done research in Cambridge University's Computer
Laboratory. Eli has an MEng in Computer Engineering and Informatics
from the University of Patras Greece. From 1998 to 2000 she worked as a
systems analyst in Procter&Gamble, in Belgium. She has also worked
as a programmer for Velti dR Ltd in London and Cetrus Inc in CA, USA.
Her research is broadly concerned with programming abstractions for
large-scale distributed systems.
