Past Exam Papers

All past exam papers for the module Developing Internet Applications are available below. The module was offered for the first time in 2000/2001. In 2000/2001, 2001/2002 and 2002/2003, the module was part of the MSc in E-Commerce programme only. From 2003/2004, it formed part of the MSc in Advanced Information Systems and the MRes in Computer Science programmes as well.

NB. The module was taught by a different person in 2000/2001. Also, the module syllabus has changed slightly from year to year, so that some questions from past papers may no longer be appropriate to the current syllabus, and questions on topics from the current syllabus may not appear in any past paper. For example, HTML was covered in some detail in 2000/2001, but not subsequently; web services were covered in 2002/2003, but not in any previous year. In 2003/2004, additional material on semi-structured data, schema formalisms other than XML schema and querying XML was covered for students on the MSc in Advanced Information Systems and the MRes in Computer Science programmes. Not all of this material was covered subsequently.

Except for the exam for 2003/4, the format has been that students answer any 4 out of 6 questions.
