Dr. Sven Helmer

Who am I?

Currently I am a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at Birkbeck College. Before that I worked as a wissenschaftlicher Assistent (corresponds approximately to Assistant Professor) at the University of Mannheim, Germany, where I also acquired my Ph.D. I received a Masters degree in Computer Science (Dipl. Inform.) from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. For the winter term 2004/2005 I held a temporary professorship in databases at the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
