
Dilek Celik
PhD Student
Dilek Celik is coming from Computer Science and Educational Technologies background. She received her bachelor's degree in Computer and Educational Technologies Teaching in 2010. After productive college education, she received a highly prestigious scholarship from the Republic of Turkey to study MA and PhD in abroad. She studied to master her English skills in Los Angeles for a year. She earned her master degree from San Francisco State University in the field of Educational Technologies in 2014. She is very enthusiastic about Programming, Educational Technology and Entrepreneurship. Her passion for creating new educational technology tools for digital natives drove her to research more about Programming, EdTech and to work on EdTech Startups. During her master education, she joined various startup and technology events in Silicon Valley. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the Department of Computer Science Department of Birkbeck, University of London. In her PhD, she studies "Design for Learning in Technology-Rich Contexts". Research Interest: Design for Learning, Machine Learning for Education, Learning Analytics
